Kailash Films is an award-winning production company creating bold, thoughtful and impactful productions and specialising in Premium Documentaries.
In recent years, our work has reached audiences across major UK broadcasters, including the BBC, Channel 4, S4C and international streamers. Highlights include Helmand: Tour of Duty (BBC Two) – a powerful observational series following British troops on the front line in Afghanistan – and Hunting Mr Nice (BBC Two), a compelling feature-length documentary exploring the extraordinary life and contradictions of infamous drug smuggler Howard Marks. Kailash is also known for producing poignant films such as Rhod Gilbert: A Pain in the Neck , and Colin Jackson: Resilience as well as archive-led storytelling and bilingual content that celebrates Welsh life.

At Kailash Films we pride ourselves on being a supportive, hands-on team. Most of our work happens in the office, where we thrive on ideas bouncing around the room, with the flexibility of the occasional day from home when needed. Our creative base is in Cardiff, with great links across the city and beyond - Office hours are typically from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
